Sapper Specialist
First week of training as a Sapper Specialist was quite tiring. But the things we learn here definitely interest me more than plain old chiong sua back in BSLC. I would love to share the stuff I learnt up till now but I can't because it is classified information. If I do, I will get into trouble. And trouble is the last thing I want in the Army. Stuff that goes K-A-B-O-O-M remains undisclosed.
Time spent in bunk is different nowadays without my BMT/SCS section-mates. Hope they are doing well in ASLC, Signals, RP, PTI, OCS, Medic.
4 more weeks in my basic engineer course than i am off to another 6 weeks of specialized trng as a bridging spec. Anw there were some interesting nicknames to the different branches of engineers.
1)Field Engineers - Grass-cutters 2)EOD - Teletubbies 3)CBRD - Houseflies 4)Bridging - Fishermen. The 3SG Rank is my motivation now. Exactly 3 months away.
Life's quite gd now. Hope it gets better after I get to know my new friends better.
