Update
It's been only two months since A'levels ended but it seemed like at least half a year. The past month was occupied with chalets and outings with my usual gang. This brings me to the question. What am I going to do for the next three months when most of my guy friends enlist this week? Rot?
Ok. So I have been actively trying to find something to occupy my time meaningfully.
Exercising. Realistically hoping to shave one min off my 2.4 timing from 12 to 11mins and up my pull-ups from five to eight. I will need to find some self-motivation after my peer-motivation is gone by this week.
For Driving, I just passed my BTT ytd and booked my FTT on the 8 March. Practical driving lessons should start towards the end of March and continue throughout April before I enlist. Hopefully I get through my FTT on the first try and get at least 15 solid practical lessons. (I am aiming to complete within 20 lessons for Class 3A)
Also, I am in the midst of applying for potential scholarships that can fund my overseas education. So far, I have crashed on EDB Scholarship and NEW internship. DSTA didn't even bother to call me in the their 1st round.
Well, with exercising/driving going on, I needed to find some assignments that pays rather well and allow flexible working time as well. There are plenty of admin jobs around paying $7/hr but obviously they don't fall into my criteria. Instead I took up some tuition jobs. Currently tutoring a J1 student Maths and Physics. Two more pending are tutoring IB student SAT II Physics and Sec3 Physics at some tuition centre. If successful, I would be earning around 700/month while working 6hr/week. Hopefully, I earn enough to cover driving lessons which are fuck ex.
