Memories to Last a Lifetime

Specialist Cadet School (SCS)

Tomorrow I will be starting the next phrase of my NS in SCS, formerly known as SISPEC, as a Sergeant Trainee. Rather fortunate considering my sub-par BMT performance. But since SAF thinks otherwise, and feels I have the leadership potential, I will try to make the best out of it. More pride, more responsibilities and more pay! Which also means more SOCs, more outfield and more route marches. Hopefully I will have some BMT friends in the same section to keep me company. Still in search of my purpose in the Army...

Things haven't really been going according to plan this year. My original plan would allow me to start school in august and contribute to society and the army in a much more significant way than what I am doing now. Its still "Appeal received" for now. Remain optimistic because there have been cases of acceptance even after the school term starts. But knowing me, I won't allow a setback from denying my ambitions.

Had a good break from army this entire week
Two more lessons to complete my driving. Afterwhich the TP test.
Watching the World Cup Finals tonight with my family and
be on my way to my new camp at SAFTI 0800hrs
