Memories to Last a Lifetime

Appropriate for a Year-in-Review

This year is arguably the most hectic year in my 18years of existence.
OCIP, SYF, pre-enlistment procedures amidst preparations for A'lvls

I came into NJ wanting to excel academically.
But the irony was I only got to sit down and re-focus on my studies around June this year.
Since everything is relative to different people, I cannot classify the effort I put in as "hard work" or "average" or even "less than expected". However, in my opinion, I probably work harder than 75% of the average JC student.

I believe things don't happen without a reason.

Yes, I managed to achieve my target grades for PCM for prelims.
But looking at my scripts, that is not all I am capable of.
My parents are delighted, my peers are congratulatory
I am elated, relieved but a thought lingers in my head
What if it was a fluke? Nope.
It was probably effort combined with a tinge of luck.
I will need to maintain it for A'lvls

But now its definitely not the time to slack,
I have been rather stagnant for the past two weeks.
It's time to pick up the pace and focus on potential pitfalls
Its the last week of school, the last stretch, the last chance

I hope this post can motivate me.
I need a plan.
