Second Last Week of JC

Time really flies, graduating from NJC next week.
this all feels surreal.
all of a sudden O'lvls seems so long ago
when the memories are still so vivid
feels weird.

Got a call from NTU ytd evening.
High Dist. for NCTC.
Yeah I am dam happy, won't deny that.

I hope I get deserving prelim results.
Things all looking good for physics, shaky for chem.

And how am I suppose to pump GP in 6weeks.
zzz.

Sometimes you treasure things more when you came so close to losing them.

Post-Mortem

Long time since the last post
Many things have happened in between these two posts
Basically it was a lot of mugging and revising and yea last minute cramming
but the US Open distracted me for abit haha.

I won't deny that I worked hard, could have been more efficient,
but it was almost 90% effort put in this time round.

Anyway I am going to review the papers one by one.

GP Essay- Just what I feared, the topics which I prepared for didn't appear the way I expected them to so, i resorted to doing the Singapore question. But it turned out alright, it least I felt it was convincing.

GP Compre- The passage was confusing, vague, hard to pick out flaws and best of all I went freestyle for summary and aq, ignoring any skills I acquired. Damn I hope I get at least a C.

Econ Essay-Did Qn 3,4,5. Managed to finish all, but due to time constraint lacked rigour for policies. Should be quite ok, at least I answered the question requirements.

Maths Paper 1- Wtf I just couldn't do the complex and implicit differentiation qn. Left out an entire term in the integration qn. That sums it all up. screwed. One of the worst papers.

Chem Paper 3- Hmm, took a long time deciding qns, but I made a last minute change again. Start with qn 2 and it was quite tough, but got easier as I went on. Probably because I panicked at the start. Probably one the best papers.

Phy Paper 3- Quite easy also, but careless here and there. Hopefully it won't cost me too many marks.

Maths Paper 2- I had to do well for this paper to get an A, and guess what? i couldn't even prove the MI, not to mention the subsequent recurrance relation part. Volume was calc. wrongly because i dunno how to handle eqn for curve. At least I got the first 3 qns right, if not I would be very disappointed with myself.

Chem Paper 2 - It was ok, definitely harder than paper 3 but I left 5marks blank, but attempted qns were manageable.

Econ Case Study - One of the other worst papers. I didn't think the questions were difficult but I didn't know how to go about answering them. Besides teachers didn't really work on CS. Probably have to buck up before As.

Phy Paper 2 - More challenging then paper 3 but could solve most of them. Careless again for the forces qn.

I definitely improved as compared to CTs and Promos.
Maybe because the papers were easier or just maybe hard work paid off?
Haha
Anw there's still MCQs to go. Gd luck.
