NCC Day

NCC Day Parade 2007

Yesterday was NCC Day. Woke up at 5.30am just to reach school on time. The Indian lady asked me to help her open all the second-floor container classrooms because her leg was hurt. Then we went to fall in and size up. The parade went well with all the usual stuff but we stood there for a much shorter time. Janson led the NCC pledge. After that we stayed back to cheer and take pictures together for the last time. Also, we received our very nice "Dog-Tag" with our names on it, right jianyang? :D My mum says every soldier wears a tag, in an event he dies on the battlefield, his comrades would be able to pick up the tag. Lols thats random sorry.

We didn't get to play softball because we were in our no.4 for the last time ever, not until army that is. Really did not expect this was the last time we would be wearing our uniforms complete with badges and all. So on the last day on the first week of Term 3, I had my fourth and last NCC Day parade, skipped PE, screwed up physics practical and had maths remedial :)

I will probably miss doing the stuff like PTs and Drills we used to do together. Let's hope we all still see each other in JC. If not, we will remember each other for life, all 26 of us. After ROD, it will be til' then guys.

Coming to an End (June Holidays)

Coming to an End

Congrats to myself for :
1) Successfully finishing my homework (except' Hist & Chi)
2) Trying for DSA
3) Keeping my hands off all computer games.
4) Taking ample time off to relax and enjoy
5) Being recharged and all ready for school
6) Giving up on something that used to be important. Now that I am happier.

Today is the 21/6/07. My father drove Joseph, Edison and I to NJC at abt 7.30am in the morning. There are about 110 people there I think. Met many more RV'ians there as well. Jerome! (LOL we may become future classmates). At around 8am, we went to gather in the LT1 for briefing and stuff.

Then we headed for the first test. The IQ test. Its basically just selecting the missing piece to fit and complete the jigsaw puzzle. But there are 60 questions to be done in 20mins. Some were really easy but some were really random and I ended up leaving 6 blanks. This very pro girl on my right finished everything and had time to drink water somemore wadde. Had a 3hr lunch break and the three of us walked 20mins to this plaza along the road for lunch at this ulu shop.
On the way back, we thought we became smarter taking a bus. But in the end, side-gates all closed sian, end up had to walk 15mins just to reach the campus. Sianz

Slacked a while in the LT and then went to the hall for Test 2. Maths Test. What to do lah... its like RV standard so just had to try my best. After I did the first round (by doing those I know and skipping the rest), I went back wanting to fill up all the blanks here and there. I think like 2 questions not taught before and the rest of the questions was because I am just plain Noob in Amaths.

Two hours passed quickly. Had a short break then continued with Test 3; English test which was going to last 2.5hrs. For the Compo, I wrote 'The Ideal School' along with the usual crap phrases I could think of. Then the Compre was interesting. It was about kite-flying. I spent the last 45mins just doing the Summary alone while Joseph finished the whole paper in 1.5hrs -.-"

Crossed the road and took 67 headed for CCK and passed by Sunhine Place :)

I hope and hope for the day, 4th july

4H Class Outing

4H Class Outing

Yesterday (13/6/07) was our class outing. Met everyone at around 12pm at Jurong East then we took bus 51 to Leon's house near West Coast Park. He has a big house with 3 storeys. We ate pizzas and settled down to play some games in his house. At around 2+ pm, we walked to West Coast Park which was about a15min walk away.

Then for the next few hours we played captain's ball, went Mac, played more, went Mac again. Lols, really sweated it out. Took some pictures at the entrance there then went back to Leon's house. There was something for everyone to do or rather everyone found sth to do; BBQ, Xbox, Mahjong, Computer Games, Card Games, Eat. Yeah, so we occupied ourselves fully all the way up to 9pm+ before going home. The bus ride back home was memorable too.

Thanks Leon for inviting us to his house. Thanks to his parents and maid for being such great hosts. I am sure everyone who went enjoyed it as such as me. People who went: huishan, siqi, peizhen, cheryl, lizhu, juehong, ross, lilin, xinyue, pinglin, jiaqiang, shengda, edison, shaun, leon, yankang, ken, frank, xihong, deming, joseph and me. This may be the last class outing before our final exams. To say the least, I enjoyed myself thoroughly.

And I got shortlisted for DSA. Man, since I already made it this far, please let me do well in the selection tests. Gd luck to me.

Halfway Through

Half of the holidays are over, but I am not even halfway through my homework YET. So far I finished 4 sets of Maths and 3 Chemistry Assigns and English. Wahlao History hwk is fked up. Sian.

Went to school for two days this week for hours of Chem lessons, well at least Mrs Lim makes it interesting with her stories. Also, I went to Frank and Jiaqiang houses to play. I guess that nothing much left in the holidays except for doing homework, finishing 神雕侠侣 VCD, catching NBA Finals and Class Outing next Wednesday, hopefully.
