How did I spend the first three days of the holidays?

Due to impending exams, all the Sec4s had to attend remedial classes. So for the first three days of the June holidays, we continued having lessons. At least the school is much quieter with lesser people running around. But surprizingly time passes particularly quickly and we are only left with one more day of remedial next week.

Today was quite a fun day. Arranged to meet in school at 8am to play basketball but because of Mr.Suay-Kenneth it started raining almost immediately after we started. Ended up, for the next two hours, they copied maths in the library while I slacked. Maths lesson was conducted in 4G and it was a refreshing change! and History remedial was a bummer. What the hell, suddenly give so much homework. So much for saving the best for the last man. After school, we spent 35mins waiting for the bus 97 which just so happened to come in a pair. Blame it on someone.

Then 8 guys; xh, dm, shaun, sd, ken, jq, frank and I went to the place near frank's house to make up for the 'morning rain'. The sun was sorching, the place was deserted, the people were hyped-up and we spent the whole afternoon there.

Ate and drank THEN we went home :)

Today is the official last day of school and that concludes Sec4 Term2 in my life not counting remedials. Time flies, half a year passed, half more to go before O'lvls. For Mid-Years I got an L1R5 of 16 which is nothing to complain about. We received sufficient homework to ensure these june holidays was going to be a fruitful one. I will have to buck up on all my subjects especially Amaths &Physics and I got the whole month to do it. Not forgeting clocking 20 more hours at the Library.

Yesterday, Delta'07 had our first ever photo-taking session. We will always be ONE.

Met the guys at 10am at JEC. We played LAN then ate at MAC before heading to AngMoKio. Waited a while for the rest to grab a bite before taking a bus to IMH.

We reached this huge compound which was pretty lively considering it is a mental hospital. We had a briefing which initially made me abit scared of whats gonna come next. But actually those patients were literally like little kids. Everyone took a while before settling down in the female ward but the atmosphere was still tense during the magic tricks segment, but luckily the singing session was very successful. I enjoy singing at the top of my voice as if it was I was alone in my house lols.

Then we proceeded to the male ward which was much more 'dull'. The first event that happened shocked a few ppl but yeah they manage to get over it. We sang again lol, this time even more heartily. Gave out the tibits we brought along and although they just snatched from my hands, I am sure they appreciated it.

Finally we had a de-brief and went off. This has had to be the most self-fulfiling CIP I ever did. Also, this was the most united class effort in 2 years. To those who could not make it for the CIP due to other commitments, you all are an important part of 4H, please do not feel ostracized if not it will just defeat the whole purpose.

Today was an unpleasant day. On the bus to school, encountered this indian worker who squeezed his way between me and another person. Talk about being guailan.

Then we got back some results. E Maths was ok. I admit Chemistry was imbal but for the rest of the subjects, I only barely managed a pass or even fail in the case of physics section B. I guess you cannot have the best of both worlds. At least I got a couple of 'A1's this time round. Just physics and Amaths is enough to make my L1R5 explode.

Also there was health check-up in a setting perfectly suitable for real-life counterstrike. The nurse checked my eyesight and wished me all the best (to whatever she meant). Actually I did nothing but to read out some enlarged letters. Class photo-taking was in the hall and went well initially until someone stole the spotlight right at the front.

After school, the situation was as bad or even worse. There was CCA photo-taking, then heard it was cancelled, then confirmed to be on (changed into uniform), then postphoned to next week. Crap, is it just me or everyone also realized that we always get the shit treatment?

Pulled Through Its Over

Today was the LAST, yes LAST day of Mid-Years Examination Sec 4 Year 2007. Although I will probably fail Amaths, I must still say I am delighted its over. With the exception of computer minds like Darren, how the hell those teachers expect us to do so difficult questions?

So after school the guys went JEC for brunch. Most of 4h guys went to watch SPIDEY 3 while some others like Frank, Kenneth, Darren, Xiang Yi went to Chevrons to play Pool. Spent like a few hours there then Frank and I decided to head towards my house for basketball instead of playing bowling with the rest. Damn unlucky lah it rained suddenly so we ended up playing trading cards in my house. WWE yeah.

I am going to enjoy the next two weeks AT LEAST. Everyone deserves a break :D

Yay! 3 more exam days and it will be over.

My modem went bust ytd and my dad and i just went mad. So today my dad changed it to a Mio. I wonder how come my modem spoils every few months when its suppose to last years ._.

Alot of exams are over. Some were alright. Social Studies SBQ was a mess. How the hell ASEAN? I did 4 questions instead of 3 for Chemistry. Seriously how dumb can I get. When Kenneth told me section B only need to do 3 questions I laughed at him. In the end, I was the clown. I DID NOT READ THE INSTRUCTIONS and wasted 15mins on that stupid question that is eventually going to get a big fat 0. I could have well used that time to fill up those blanks in front. SUCKS.

Now left with physics, english(insignificant cause you cannot study for it), history and Amaths. AMaths =.=
