Running Through

Running Through
Quote from KS: "I only thank RV for the friends it has given me".

Had a 5mins drill session yesterday. Its been a long time since we did that together. Brings back memories of the good old times.

Ranks might differ but our bond remains.

Things are changing for the better now.

To the many tests coming up and mid-yrs in less than a month's time,

I WILL be strong and OWN it.

CAMPED-OUT

-CAMPED-OUT-

Our Annual UG Camp ended a few days ago. Lots of mistakes here there everywhere. A camp without pumpings, without changing parade, without making cadets feel like they could just collaspe and faint is not a camp. When we were in Sec1 we probably got punished more severely than the Sec3s now. When we were in Sec3 we probably were more exhausted from the changing parades then all the PTs combined. However, things are different now.
But on the lighter note, its really fun being a spec. Able to book-out to buy stuff at Vivocity and sleeping in air-con classrooms.

Awaiting us was the mountain load of homework. I am currently left with
1) All of EMaths Papers
2) All of English Writing
3) History Essay
4) Amaths Worksheet
5) Geography Worksheet
6) Physics Mid-years

Hopefully everything pays off.

Put on the Thinking Cap

Put on your Thinking Cap

This entire week was busier than bustling Singapore. Monday- Chinese culture performance; Tuesday- CCA; Wednesday- Learning Journey; Thursday- Tuition; Friday- CCA. Got back our common tests results. L1R5 = 15. Sian, although almost same as last year's EOYs but others improved alot.

Went to the Eurasian Association of Singapore for our learning journey. Quite enjoyable, especially how the minority group can play such a crucial role in our history. Only thing unpleasant was being scolded by our guide there. "Sorry for drinking water while you were talking" sums up what happened. Two interesting facts. #1. How the Japanese pawned the people. Damn Perverted. #2. It is directly opposite the president's house.

Today was CCA. Something really hilarious happened.
Scene 1 (All contents translated from chinese to english)
(Kenneth, Yankang, WeiQuan and me walked into a "apparently" deserted NCC room at about 5.15pm)
Kenneth: Wah siao, no one here sia.
After a few seconds of looking around, four of us burst into laughter when we saw Jerome (spotting a white cap) sitting among the container boxes doing homework.
Kenneth: Eh Jerome is that RV 50th Anniversary cap?
Jerome turns around, giving everyone a glance of his exclusive Harry Potter cap.
Everyone laughed again.
Kenneth: Eh the ceiling not dripping water leh, why u wear cap.
Jerone (serious tone): No, its becauseI may fall asleep while doing homework. This cap tighter so when I wear it I will not fall asleep.

Laughter is the best medicine. This is comic relief. I swear that scene was one of the funniest moments in my life.

Good luck to everyone running X-country. Safety first *_*
